Mobotix IP cameras are more than just IP cameras – they are fully featured network video devices that are suitable for nearly any environment whether it be Caribbean warm or Canada cold - -30°c to +60°c. Each Mobotix IP camera includes it’s own embedded Linux operating system which provides an extremely advanced feature set and rock solid reliability. Based in Germany, Mobotix has manufactured IP cameras for over 10 years with countless deployments worldwide. All Mobotix IP cameras have the following traits:
- No moving parts – translates to low maintenance and less prone to failures.
- Weatherproof - IP65 certified for -30°c to +60°c use without the need for fans or heaters.
- Easy installation – one CAT5e cable does it all with PoE.
- On camera storage for some models eliminating the need for external recording devices. Start your system with one camera only!

- Natively record to remote Windows or NFS shares via your network.
- Full and advanced Internet capabilities included web server (PDA), ftp client, email client and VoIP or SIP client.
- Can include temperature sensor, PIR motion detector (similar to ones used in alarm systems), serial interface, ISDN connection, LEDs, speaker, microphone.
- FREE software to manage/monitor your cameras. Install on as many Windows based PCs as you like.
- Use any web browser that supports Javascript. Use Internet Explorer with Active-X plugin to achieve two way audio.

There are 5 Mobotix camera types:
- M24M – a popular multi purpose camera available in VGA, 1 megapixel or 3 megapixel versions with a 7 differnt lenses. Includes built in speaker and microphone with VoIP and SIP telephony support. Internal DVR supports MicroSD cards up to 32GB.
- M12D – a flexible 2 image sensor camera that can support resolutions up to 2048×1536 (3 megapixel). Includes built in speaker, microphone, PIR motion sensor and the internal DVR supports SD cards up to 16GB. Camera can be configured to use color lens with ample light and switch to black and white in low light.
- D24M – single lens dome camera available in wall, ceiling or a robust stainless steel housing. Supports up to 3 megapixel and the internal DVR supports SD cards up to 16GB in size.
- D12D – a dual dens dome camera that can be configured to provide 180 degrees of high resolution video up to 3 megapixels. Includes PIR motion sensor, microphone and speaker and supports SD cards up to 16GB for the internal DVR.
- Q24M – whole room monitoring thanks to the hemispheric lens. Software allows for the 360 degree view to be viewed as a quad display. Includes integrated speaker, microphone and DVR that supports 16GB SD cards.
