Mobotix Q24
With it’s hemispherical lens, the Mobotix Q24M can capture 360 degree images when ceiling mounted or 180 degree images when wall mounted. The power lies within Mobotix’s free software which converts the 3.1 megapixel fisheye images in one or more corrected views. Their virtual PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) allow for 4 different simultaneous views. This is one of the most discrete, high resolution IP cameras available on the market today.
The camera inherits all other Mobotix IP camera advantages such as on-camera storage capability (up to 32GB using a microSD card), two way audio, IP65 weather rating, 3W power consumption and zero moving parts.
The Mobotix Q24M is well suited for environments where an environment overview is required. The camera is not well suited for environments that require a narrow field of view. It’s ideal mounting height is between 2.5m and 3m.
