Mobotix M12
The Mobotix M12 is a unique looking security camera which is best suited for applications where a color day image is required in addition to black and white night images. With the built in light meter, the camera automatically switches to the night lens when the light levels become low, which is a configurable setting. While both lenses are fixed in the same direction, the M12 can be configured with different lens types. For example: a wide angle day lens (3 megapixel) and a more tightly focused black and white lens for night time images.

Another unique feature of the M12 is the integrated passive infrared (PIR) motion detector which can be used to trigger events in conjunction to the video motion detection. Playing sounds or pre-recorded voices based on motion detection can be a great deterrent and can also be a lot of fun!
